Having friends to share your love of dogs with is truly the greatest reward in dog shows. Friendships that stand the test of good times and bad, sorrow and laughter. I wanted to share some of my friends with you .......
This is a picture of Mildred Austin and I at the 2002 NBC nationals in Aldie, VA.

Mildred has been instrumental in our success in beagles. If it weren't for her, and our son wanting a dog of his own, none of this would have been possible.

Nine years later, we are best friends, co-breeders on many litters and now are the co-owners on the #1 beagle in the USA.

Thank you Mildred!
This is Suzy Miller. Suzy and her husband Tim live in the city, so they are limited on the number of beagles they can have...and Bomber & Bentley are happy to hear that!
In 2001, Suzy, Mildred and I went in together and bought this lovely bitch named Sarah from Bev & Sally Scherer of Beva Beagles. (shown here finishing with Suzy handling)
Under the kennel name "We Three" Sarah has given us CH. We Three Share Holder (Sharee)  and her younger sister We Three Speed Racer (Trixie has both majors so far).
This is Dr. Don Gill. Don is pictured here showing his beloved Casey.
Don has been judging AKC dog shows for over 25 years... but this was his first show beagle. Casey was given to Don to show and love shortly after the 9/11 tragedy.
Despite all of the chaos associated with planes that could not fly and judges that could not get in to judge, the Tyler Kennel Club pulled it together and had a wonderful show...it wasn't until later that I realized that Mildred had given what was to be my dog (Casey)... to Don!
That's ok, because our friendship because of it is very greatly appreciated!
